Rick and Becky Zawada are Miles City, Montana natives. In 1994 Rick Zawada started RZ Welding, LLC in Miles City. Later, in 2004 Becky Zawada decided she wanted to explore the artistic side of metal work. After finding a plasma cutter, it was soon discovered to be a great benefit that goes hand-in-hand with the welding shop.
The plasma cutter is a computerized, robotic cutter and can be programmed to cut up to 4-foot by 20-foot lengths. It can cut any geometric and artistic parts from metal ranging from 30 gauge to 3/4-inch thick in steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
With this machine, Creative Metal Works is able to create works of art such as ranch signs and artistic designs in metal, wrought iron railings. We can scan most drawings and pictures and we are continually adding artwork programs and pictures to our gallery.
